About the job

IT & Data QFS Product Analyst champions the end-to-end value of the IT solutions, ensuring they support global Quality & Food Safety objectives. This role partners closely with Product Owners, Business Process Owners, and IT teams to deliver solutions that maximize business value, compliance, and user experience. The analyst drives continuous improvement, manages requirements, oversees configuration and data stewardship, and supports complex incidents, risk, and change management for the platform.

The role reports to IT Product Owner (QFS) and collaborates closely with: Business Process Owners, AMS Support Team, Vendor (Veeva), Integration/Analytics teams.

 

Let's go into details:

Customer Value & Product Performance:

  • Deeply understand customer needs and gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze product performance metrics to ensure the platform delivers measurable business value and compliance.
  • Ensure alignment between business needs and technical capabilities

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Process Owners to co-create solutions addressing real user needs across IT QFS scope (e.g., Veeva QualityOne Platform, SAP etc).
  • Translate business challenges into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing the product backlog for maximum impact.
  • Support the Product Owner in gathering and prioritizing requirements, and refining acceptance criteria items based on Business value, Risks, Affordability and Technical dependencies.

Configuration & Data Stewardship

  • Oversee configuration changes with a focus on stability, scalability, and user experience.
  • Manage data quality and integrity, supporting bulk data operations and reference data maintenance.

Incident, Problem & Risk Management

  • Assist IT Service / Release Manager in triage of incidents related to workflows, security roles, and integrations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product reliability or compliance.
  • Support the Product Owner in risk management activities.

Testing, Quality Assurance & Continuous Delivery

  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) with a product mindset, ensuring solutions meet user needs and compliance standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and integrating feedback into future releases.
  • Actively seek feedback from stakeholders, team members, and end-users for ongoing product and process optimization.

Reporting, Insights & Value Tracking

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs that demonstrate product value, adoption, and compliance.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and communicate value to stakeholders.

Training, Enablement & Change Adoption

  • Create and maintain clear, user-focused IT documentation and IT training materials for both Projects & Global Support Team upskilling.

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical and business teams.
  • Support the Product Owner in engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring feedback is captured and incorporated into product development.
  • Help communicate and explain business needs in a way that is understandable to all stakeholders.

About you

We expect you to have: 

  • several years in product analysis, business analysis, or similar roles, ideally within FMCG industries
  • fluent in English – French is a plus
  • technical Skills: Familiarity with Veeva Vault or SAP Operations modules and integration flows; Basic data analysis (ex. SQL); Experience with configuration management and data stewardship. Be able to grasp technical concepts and collaborate with Data & Analytics / Global Infrastructure / Cybersecurity teams effectively
  • core Competencies: Product thinking, Analytical mindset, Collaboration, Compliance orientation, Agile and user-centric mindset
  • experiences in Project budget management
