Role Purpose
Drive sales and market share by defining, developing and landing the marketing strategy for UK IMF products, with initial focus on defining a Consumer Value Proposition. Develop and land the Direct Parcel Business model in the UK. Design, track, and refine User Generated Content initiative across daigou and direct channels. Work cross functionally internally and externally to influence and deliver relevant activation & projects championing Chinese daigou, shoppers & consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Strategy & Planning
- Lead on developing marketing strategy and consumer value proposition for UK labels
- Develop from scratch the new Direct Parcel business model & land with Key Partner
- Conduct consumer, market & competitor analysis, providing insights & action for UK labels - Plan and manage marketing budgets and campaigns
Brand Management & Activation
- Ensure tailored, consistent brand messaging across different channels & countries
- Work with UK and China to develop tailored marketing assets for daigou
- Manage x functional projects between UK & China teams, ensuring aligned execution
- Monitor and enhance Aptamil Advanced brand reputation & awareness (U&A data)
Campaign Management
- Deliver engaging content across Chinese platforms (e.g. Rednote, Douyin)
- Work with key partner to influence their marketing initiatives & convert daigou
- Define best execution of UGC marketing activation for the UK labels and Key Partner
- Conduct agile in market testing & finetuning of the DP UGC model & incentives
Please note that the salary on offer for this position is between £55,000 - £60,000 + bonus, car allowance & benefits
We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills:
- Relevant brand and Chinese social media marketing experience
- Leadership skills shown through strategic thinking and influencing variety of stakeholders
- Fluent in Mandarin and English. Experience of working in China (or for Danone China)
- Experience of China’s social media and e-comm ecosystem & trends of social seeding
